Although we have had this kitty a few years prior to this pooch here, he has finally managed to pass along his bad habit of begging. Bad dog.
I believe some of the most creative campaigns tend to come from liquor companies. Here’s another gem. It is for Jameson Whiskey and it debuted in October as their first ever television advertisement. The “Most Interesting Man in the World” better watch out for John Jameson.

As I drove to school this morning I kept hearing coins jingling around the car. The jingling kept getting louder and louder so I searched the car; every nook and cranny. Finally I looked under a bag on the floor of the back seat and found my dad’s secret stash…….

I have decided that I am going to give out these novelty bananas rather than a paper business card. Not only will they promote myself, but they will also promote good health, as bananas are an excellent source of potassium and vitamins B6, C, and A.

Jackson Browne and Sharon Shannon. And a little bit of Bob Dylan if you know what I mean. Super so good.
Oh and do ignore the annoying little slide show.
This commercial was directed by the great Rupert Sanders. He is a graphic designer that has become one of the most sought-after directors in the commercial world. I greatly enjoy most of his elaborate commercials. I enjoy this one in particular due to it’s clever type usage. I would, one day, love to create something of this caliber.

We have been suspecting that racoons have been night swimming in our pool lately. These coon prints clearly confirm our suspicions.

Survival of the fittest
If you walk down the halls of the world-renowned Cal State University of Fullerton, this is a sign that you might see on approximately 7 out of 10 doors. No joke. The bottom states that students were notified of the cancellation, but this is in fact a fraudulent claim. Many of my friends found that their classes were cancelled only after reading one of these notes. Thank God I was not one the these unfortunate people. The college states that they are required to make well over ten million dollars worth of cuts to balance the state budget. In addition to the cancelled classes they have also screwed covers over most of the outlets around campus so students can no longer plug in, they raised the cost of tuition $900 three weeks before school started, and raised the cost of parking to $182 for a pass, and $9 for daily parking. However unless you show up at the school before 7a.m. it is near impossible to find parking. I am quite grateful that this is the last class I have to take at this “prestigious” university. Sorry for the rant, however I am quite frustrated.

I found this gem in my sister’s room today. She said her friend gave it to her because he looked Italian. He looks more like Hitler if you ask me.

This is a project I had for a 3D design class over 6 years ago. It has been sitting in my closet ever since. I have found it quite difficult to throw out due to how much blood, sweat, tears, and money went into completing this project. Although outwardly it appears to be nothing more than a chaotic concoction of sticks, it was actually a highly complex structure. We had a 20 page rule book we had to comply with, and a half of a semester to complete it in. In hindsight it was an incredible waste of time, and is a currently a waste of space. But today I have finally found the courage to through it in the dumpster.
Good Day

The current pride and joy of the Berlino family. Our ancestors would be proud.

This morning I woke up to some freshly percolated coffee and delicious NY bagels in Port Jefferson, Long Island. As I slowly sipped my coffee on the porch swing I came to terms with the fact that I had to return to California in a few hours. Farewell Long Island, I shall miss thee.
